An empowering event for women ready to turn ideas into action and build a business with confidence
Olivia McVeigh is a Northern Ireland–based make-up artist, content creator, entrepreneur, podcaster and advocate whose work spans beauty, business and female empowerment. Named on the BBC’s Top 100 Women’s List in 2024, for her influential and inspiring representation of women with alopecia, Olivia uses her voice and platform to normalise hair loss and champion confidence and self-acceptance among women everywhere.
After beginning to lose her hair as a teenager, Olivia transformed what was once a source of insecurity into a platform for empowerment. She has created a thriving online community of over half a million followers and uses her experience to help others embrace their identity, founding her own wig workshops and empowering women to feel confident and authentic in their own skin.
In addition to her advocacy, Olivia is the founder of one of Northern Ireland’s most popular podcasts, The Girls Group Chat Podcast, where she and co-hosts explore topics ranging from business to wellbeing, with honesty and humour. She combines creativity, vulnerability and entrepreneurial insight to inspire women to believe in themselves, build confidence, and consider turning their passions into purpose-driven ventures.
